Itinerary

1. Day 1 Haridwar to Barkot(APPROX. 220 KMS/7-8 HRS)

   • Welcome to Char Dham Yatra tour!
   • Commence your journey from Haridwar Railway Station or Doiwala Airport towards Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie.
   • En route, marvel at the enchanting Kempty Fall and other scenic vistas before arriving at your hotel for an overnight stay.
2. Day 2 Barkot to Yamunotri via Barkot (APPROX. 45 KMS BY ROAD & 6 KMS TREK – ONE SIDE)

   • Travel to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, commencing a trek to Yamunotri. Experience the divine aura at Yamunotri Temple, cooking rice in the hot kund and seeking blessings.
   • Yamunotri Temple : Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again.
   • Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
   • Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
   • Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

3. Day 3 Barkot to Uttarkashi (APPROX. 100 KMS/4 HRS)

   • Drive to Uttarkashi, where the revered Vishwanath Temple awaits your visit.
   • Check into the hotel and spend the night in Uttarkashi
4. Day 4 Uttarkashi to Gangotri via Uttarkashi (APPROX. 105 KMS/4 HRS EACH SIDE)

   • Morning proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), en-route enjoy the drive parallel to Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas.
   • On arrival Gangotri have a holy dip in river Bhagirathi (icy cold water).
   • Perform Pooja and Hindu rites at the bank of river.
   • Then proceed to darshan, of Mata Ganga, Lord Shiva, Hanuman, Vinayka and BhagirathMaharaj, have blessings and return back to Uttarkashi.
   • Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
5. Day 5 Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (APPROX. 220 KMS/8-9 HRS)

   • Morning drive to Guptkashi or Phata.
   • En-route visit Dhari Devi temple & Rudraprayag (the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers – Alaknanda and Mandakini), later drive to Guptkashi & visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Ardhanariswar Temple).
   • Later do Registration for visiting Kedarnath, overnight stay at Hotel.
   • Rudraprayag: It is the confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda, Rudranath, Temple & Narad Silla.
6. Day 6 Guptkashi to Kedarnath (APPROX. 30 KMS BY ROAD & 14 KMS TREK)

   • Early morning drive to Sonprayag / Phata (for trek route or helipad)trek starts from here to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on foot or Heli/doli/pony (at own cost).
   • Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes.
   • After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji.
   • Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on
     the surface. The r! emaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
   • Stay overnight at Kedarnath on your own expense.

7. Day 7 Kedarnath – Guptkashi (APPROX. 30 KMS BY ROAD & 14 KMS TREK)

   • Today morning trek down to Guptkashi and Overnight Stay at Guptkashi.
   • Gaurikund: At a distance of 5kms from Sonprayag and at an altitude of 1982 meters., one can take bath in the hot water pond here and visit the Gauri Temple . This is the place where Goddess Parvathi meditated to attain Lord Shiva. It is the base for a trek to Kedarnath.
8. Day 08 Guptkashi – Joshimath (APPROX. 190 KMS / 8 HRS)

   • Morning After breakfast transfer to Badrinath,
   • en-route visit Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnu Prayag, & Joshimath (Narshimha Temple) on arrival check in at hotel,
   • Overnight stay at hotel.
   • Joshimath is one of the four cardinal pīṭhas (seats) established by Adi Shankaracharya. It holds immense religious significance and is a crucial center for Hindu spirituality. The Joshimath Math, established by Adi Shankaracharya, preserves and propagates his teachings. Acts as a pivotal point for the CharDham Yatra pilgrimage. Provides access to the Panch Badri temples: Badrinath, Yogadhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Vridha Badri, and Adi Badri.

9. Day 09 Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath / Pipalkoti (APPROX. 80 KMS / 4 HRS)

   • Morning visit temple after a holy dip in Taptkund.
   • Proceed through colorful entrance of the temple have Darshan of Badrivishal along with Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav,
     Nar & Narayan.
   • Also see another small temples inside the temple compound i.e. Laxmimata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarn and Kaamdhenu.
   • One can get ‘Charnamirt’(abhishekamjal) in side compound. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddam Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), one can perform rite here.
   • Later a visit of Mana Village (India’s last village towards Indo-Tibetan border), which includes Vyasa Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhimpul, Saraswati river etc, In the evening transfer to Joshimath/ Pipalkoti,
   • Overnight stay.

10. Day 10 Pipalkoti/Joshimath – Haridwar (APPROX. 220 KMS / 8 HRS)

    • Morning after transfer to Haridwar, en-route visit Devprayag the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi.
    • Here onwards downstream river is called Ganges, later transfer to Rishikesh, – Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Laxman Jhoola,
    • then Process to Haridwar on arrival proceed to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of pious river Ganges and join the enchanting
      evening Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri.
    • Brahma Kund, the spot where the Amrit (nectar) spilled out of the pitcher, is located at Harki Pauri and is considered to be prime ghat of Haridwar.
    • Here tour ends here with happy memories to be cherished forever.
